MULTAN, Brutality and indecency of Police took the life of a mother of six children in Khangarh city. Now DPO Muzaffargarh and other influential are trying to save the skin of SHO Police station who issolely responsible for this mishap.When She put petrol on her body to commit suicide .No one came forward to save her life. Later they reported to higher authorities that merely 15 percent body was affected .In fact, 50 percent body was affected .A village woman,mother of six children burnt herself when she failed to get relief from the Khangarh police and she succumbedto burns at Nishtar Hospital Multan last night after fighting with life for a week.She was laid to lest on Thursday ,hundreds of people attended her funeral rites.Police said Muhammad Hussain and his three sons Shahbaz Rajoo, Nawab Hussain, and Younas attacked the home of ill-fated Shahnaz Bibi and subjected her and her husband Rasheed Gondal to torture on January 22 and they also threatened them for killing them. They moved to Police station for lodging a complaint but Police called both parties and forced them to resolvethe dispute when Shahnaz bibi insisted on registration of a case.Then ASI Khizar Shah sent bothy parties to lock-up undersection 107-151 Cr.PC.He also misbehaved with the female complainant and pushed her out of police station on January 24. She could not absolve her insult and she put petrol on her clothes and attempted to self immolation.She was referred to burn unit of Nishtar Hospital Multan but she could not survive.Chief MInister Punjab has suspended the services of SHO Police station Khangarh Ramzan Shahid, ASI Khizar Shah.
