Angry protesters took to the streets in Sehwan Sharif, demo across the country

Scores of angry protesters took to the streets in Sehwan Sharif on Friday to protest the bomb attack which had claimed more than 80 lives in the city a day earlier. 
The situation in Sehwan Sharif went from bad to worse as angry protesters took to the streets and in a fit of rage torched a police vehicle. Police resorted to aerial firing in order to disperse the enraged protesters and thwart them from causing further damage. Most of the protesters were relatives of the deceased who had been killed in Thursday's suicide bomb attack.
The protest, which began from Lal Shahbaz Qalandar's shrine, spread to Jahaz Chowk in the city. Since Jahaz Chowk was sealed due to the protest, traffic in the surrounding areas was affected severely.
A day earlier, a suicide bomber blew himself up at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, taking more than 80 lives and injuring scores of others. The recent spate of terrorist attacks in Pakistan has worried security agencies and the public in general.
Pakistan Army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa vowed to avenge every drop of blood of innocent civilians that was shed by the militants.
Banned outfit and militant organisation Jamaatul Ahraar claimed responsibility for the attack.More than 200 activists of Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) staged a protest demonstration against the suicidal attack at Shehwan Sharif shrine which caused the death of 75 devotees and injuring 200 people.The demo was held in front of Masjid Al-Hussain and led by Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi, AllamaNadir Hussain Alvi,Muhammad Saleem Siddiqui and Saqlain Naqvi on friday.Another two demonstration were alsoorganised in Suraj Miani and in front of Multan Press club which were joined by more than 300 people collectively.The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans against terrorism.The Shia leaders strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Sehwan Sharif . They demanded the government take solid steps for elimination of terrorism from the country. The protestors demanded the government to ensure security of the devotees at shrines of spiritual leaders Pakistan.Most of the victims were pilgrims who were going back to their native areas after visiting holy shrine in Sehwan Sharif.
