Shikarpur police foiled a bid to kidnap six persons for ransom

Acting on tip-off, Shikarpur police on Thursday rescued six person of Larkana district, who were going to a destination on fake invitation of dacoits in limits of Naparkot Police Station.
PSO, SSP Shikarpur Athar Channa said police cordoned off area at Toll Plaza Shikarpur and Karampur diversion and rescued six persons going to Garhi Tegho, Katcha area of Shikarpur district on their motorcycles on pretext to meet fake female friends, who contacted them on phone. 
Those rescued Abdul Wahab Tunio, Hakim Ali Chandio, Mehar Ali, Sikandar Ali Chandio, Jinsar Chandio & Haji Niaz Chandio told newsmen they were contacted by woman six months back by phone. After six months, invitation was sent but police after rescue investigated them. Police registered case against notorious bandit Belo Teghani, Nisar Sabzoi, Lado Teghani, Musto Jaffari and others on complaint of SHO Naparkot Zahid Abro. 
Meanwhile, New Faujdari Police foiled robbery bid and arrested dacoit Nadeem son of Ali Bakhsh Marfani in injured condition after encounter at Gawaz Waah [canal]. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Shikarpur. Police recovered a pistol, bullets and a stolen motorcycle from his possession, police claimed
