A trader belonging to the Bohra community was shot dead in the metropolis North Nazimabad area on Friday night.

“Bohra community members were standing near Burhan Centre when armed pillion riders opened fire on them and fled,” said North Nazimabad SHO Ghulam Asghar Abbasi.

The deceased was identified as Hakim Feroz.

In the attack, another member of the community was injured.

The victim was a businessman, added the police official.

Earlier this week, two police officials were shot dead in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of the metropolis.
