18 Indian fishermen were handed over to Indian authorities at Wagah Border

As many as 18 Indian fishermen were handed over to authorities at Wagah Border on Monday.The fishermen were released from the Malir jail, Karachi, on Sunday afternoon after serving their sentences. The fishermen were sent to Lahore by a train to cross over to Wagah.
The fishermen were freed from the jail as a good will gesture. They reached Lahore in the morning through a train and were shifted to Wagah through special buses arranged by Edhi Foundation. Edhi Foundation also gave them Rs5,000, clothes and other gifts for their families in India.
