Six persons burnt to dead as an oil-tanker caught fire after capsizing

Six persons including oil-tanker conductor were burnt to death and another 15 injured when an oil-tanker capsized due to bursting of its tyre and oil caught fire within no time in Gujerat town of Muzaffargarh district on Saturday .This mishap occurred near Pak-Arabi Oil Refinery  at JAMCO Chowk.Police said that fire also burnt three motor cycles and people standing there .Six people died on the spot, and remaining 15 injured seriously.They were removed to burn unit of Nishtar Hospital Multan.DPO Muzaffargarh Awais Malik said," It was an accident which occurred due to bursting of the tyre," Those who died are identified as Shah Ali, Muhammad Ibrahim, Mudassar Ali, Fayyaz Ahmed and Khalil Ahmed. Another could not be identified. Munir Ahmed, Javed ,Mehboob, Haji Muhammad ,Sabir, Sajjad, Fiaz, Saeed ,Abdul Basit ,Muzammil, Haji Hanif were fighting against death in Pak-Italian modern burnt unit Multan. Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has announced a compensation of Rs.0.5 million for deceased family and Rs.200,000 for each injured person. District administration appreciated the role of Flah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF)and helping the rescue team.
