MULTAN, Nov 30th: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Police and intelligence agencies on Sunday late night killed four suspected activists of Al-Qaeda (Shoaib Cheema group) However, Shoaib Cheema managed to run away along with his accomplice Muhammad Hanif from Wadore,an outskirt of Dera Ghazi Khan, some 100 km west of Multan. CTD official told with the condition of anonymity ,"we have received information that Shoaib Cheema commander of his faction of Al-Qaeda took refuge in village Wadore a suburb of Dera Ghazi Khan.Shoaib Cheema, according to the police, is the mastermind of terrorism in various parts of Punjab and Islamabad.Then a special team was organised by CTD Multan and it raided the village Wadore. The terrorists opened fires on raiding party when Police posse retaliated four suspect terrorists were killed on the spot.However Al-Qaeda (Shoaib Cheema group)'s Commander Shoaib Cheema managed to runaway alongwith his accomplice Muhammad Hanif alias Razzaq taking advantage of the darkness. Police have cordoned off the entire area and conducting raids to arrest them.DPO Dera Ghazi Khan Ghulam Mubashar Maikan confirmed the death of four suspect terrorists whose bodies were shifted to District Head Quarter Hospital Dera Ghazi khan for post mortem.
