Passengers with work and visit visas were also denied boarding. At least 30 passengers set for travel to different countries were offloaded from planes at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi late on Saturday night over suspicion of human smuggling, officials from the immigration department told

The offloaded passengers were bound for various destinations, including Thailand, Qatar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Turkey, South Africa, the UK, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and other countries.

Authorities cited missing travel documents and failure to provide convincing reasons for their journeys as the primary reasons for offloading.
