Eid Al-Fitr—Day of Divine Reward for its fasting people-Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi's Special Eid message

Eid-ul-Fitr comes just after the final day of fasting. The month of fasting and the day of Eid al-Fitr both represent two very important features of the religion of Islam. The Prophet of Islam said that the month of fasting was a month of patience. That is, it is a month of self-restraint, a month of self-discipline, a month of self-control, a month of promoting duty-consciousness. Eid al-Fitr represents the reward of God, which will be granted by God to those who observe one month’s fasting. In other words, fasting represents dutiful worldly life and Eid al-Fitr represents the reward that will be given in return by God to man.Eid al-Fitr is an important annual festival for people of the Islamic faith. These views were expressed by renowned industrialist, former President of Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan and former punjab caretaker minister for industry Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi in a special message on Eid-Day.

On this day, Muslims gather at the Eid Gah or open places to thank to their Lord, and offer two rak'at prayers of thanksgiving. They also Pray to God that this Eid may bring prosperity stability, integrity  to the country and bring an end to hatred and enmity towards the country.

Khawaja Muhammad Jalaluddin Roomi said that we should keep in our mind  that every religious ceremony and teaching of Islam in its place is a great means of reform and betterness.

Generally, it is held that Eid al-Fitr is the Eid of sweets, although sweets are not a religious part of Eid al-Fitr, but certainly they represent the spirit of Eid, for sweet dishes are always considered to be the sign of love, compassion and well wishing. Gifts of sweets distributed on the day of Eid represent the true spirit of this Islamic festival.

The day of Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a day of dressing well and eating well, but also there are other requirements of this day, which are related to community, unity, service to the people, mourning and helping each other. We should also resolve to move forward for the service of the people on the day of Eid with the promise of worshiping Allah Almighty. It is the responsibility of those who have been blessed by Allah with His blessings to help the needy as much as possible.we should not lose this opportunity.

The former caretaker provincial minister said that we should get rid of hatred, envy and malice from our hearts and play an important role in building a pious and truly reforming and peaceful society. On the day of Eid, let us all pledge that we will live as a beneficial nation with unity and solidarity and will adopt a benevolent and compassionate attitude towards every creature of Allah.Fasting also gives us a message of patience and forbearance. Patience is very important for peace and good deeds. Make tolerance your motto, avoid hatred and violence and emotional provocations, help each other and create an atmosphere of mutual cooperation.
