Renowned industrialist, former President of Multan & Dera Ghazi Khan chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ex-Punjab caretaker Minister for Industry and Chairman of Jalaluddin Roomi foundation Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has announced to meet all expenditure of medical education of a position holder poor girl till completion of degree besides making admission fee immediately. The mother of the student expressed her gratitude to Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and Deputy Commissioner Multan Amer Karim Khan and said that she can't express her sentiments in words on this occasion.She also appreciated the Punjab Chief Minister's vision and his open door policy.It may bew recalled that Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi foundation was granting scholarships, uniforms, books and other facilities to the deserving students of different cadres. It was also doing work on a mega project of clean water in South Punjab, Balochistan and tribal bell of Punjab while "Langar:" and ration was being supplied in different areas.
Deputy Commissioner Multan Amer Karim khan was listening the grievances, problems and demands of the citizens in an open kutchery as per Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Urman Buzdar's open door policy and access to administration. A senior lady Chowk Shah Abbas area appeared in the kutchehry and submitted an application praying for the payment medical fee of her daughter who had got admission in a private medical & dental college on merit because she is a position holder. but she can't afford expenses of medical education because she was passing through severe economic stress and she was struggling to meet domestic expenditures. Upon this, Deputy Commissioner Multan contacted a number of well to-do-persons after verification of the story narrated by the woman. Upon his call, Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi accepted the responsibility of all expenses of medical college till completion of degree.Deputy Commissioner Multan also paid a gratitude to Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi and appreciated his spirit.
