Muhammad Waseem Khan Babur and Ch.Muhammad Arshad Rashid Mayo have been elected as President and General Secretary of District Bar Association Multan by bagging 1394 and 1404 votes on Saturday. Waseem Khan's rival candidate Syed Waheed Raza Bukhari and Ch.Jahanzeb got 1004 and 171 votes respectively. 19 votes were rejected due some technical faults.Rashid Mustafa Sheikh elected as vice President by securing 1032 votes.his rivals candidates Mehr Muhammad Tariq Sisal (852)Syed Khadim Hussain Bukhari(543) and Muhammad Iqbal Shakir Ansari(141),In one to one fight on General Secretary seat losing candidate Shahid Mehmood Chavan got 1016 votes. Zeeshan Nazar Bhatti elected as finance secretary by securing the highest number of 1654 votes,his rival Mehnaz Aslam got 905 votes.Library Secretary Ashfaq Hussain, and Joint Secretary Mubashra Shahid elected unopposed. Similarly all the ten member of executive committee have also been elected unopposed.They are:Ihsan ahmed Khan, Javed Iqbal Malik, Hafiz Abdul Rauf Qadri, Abbas Waseer, Muhammad Ashraf Malik,Javed Iqbal Khan,Muhammad Zulfikar Ali, Muhammad Tahir Riaz Qureshi, Mirza Mudassar Baig and Ch.Nasir Ahmed.
