MULTAN, August 14th: Noted industrialist, former Punjab caretaker Minister for Industries, Ex-President of Multan Chamber, Sitting president of Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of Board of Directors of Punjab Social Security Health Management Committee, Punjab Kh. Jalaluddin Roomi has said in his independence day message that freedom or independence is not free, it comes with a price. Gaining independence costs you sacrificing the lives of many, therefore it should be protected, love, respected, and appreciated. Celebrate freedom and express love for our homeland through kind words.The Day not only gives us a message of courage, dedication, and happiness but also makes us realize about our responsibilities and doing something good for the country only requires a will.
He reiterated we should keep in mind what Pakistan has given to us and what we are given to our beloved motherland in return.
He termed this a great tragedy that after passing more than seven decades we as a nation have failed to make a consensus to solve national problems. He said that policies, in accordance with the global demands will have to be adopted keeping the growing size of the agriculture sector. Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said that compensating the industries in taxes and giving them incentives is the prime need of the time to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the country. He said that the government and private sector will have to take new initiatives in order to lessen the dependence on foreign aid which would help the national economy to move in the right direction. He said that every Pakistani will have to work wholeheartedly and with good intention for uplifting the name of our beloved motherland in the comity of the nation. These are the real requirements of the celebration of Independence Day. When the agricultural economy of the country will be strengthened, the farmers will become prosperous and unemployment will be eradicated.
