A stage artist, Samina Khattak was murdered allegedly by her son on Thursday because he dislikes her profession and activities. He reached at Lahore in a car to kill her mother. However ,he could not escape from Police and immediately arrested. Police said that
a man was arrested for allegedly murdering his mother for honour, media reported.
Police said the incident took place at Lahore's Hanjarwal area. The woman has been identified as local actress Samina Khattak.
The spokesperson said that the suspect has been arrested and that the murder weapon and a car have been recovered from him.
