WCCI Multan body took oath-Navaira Fahd President, FarahSaqib SVP and Nadia Waseem VP elected

 


The  Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Multan successfully concluded here on Wednesday, 30 September 2020 at a local hotel, before a packed audience comprising friends and well-wishers of the newly elected executive committee and WCCI members.WCCI Multan’s outgoing President, Ambreen Abbas Khan gave a brief background of WCCI Multan and its achievement in spite of lockdown due to pandemic COVID-19 and said that the Women chamber was formed for the aid and assistance of female entrepreneurs and businesswomen. Since there is a multitude of businesses run exclusively by women in Pakistan now, it was the need of the day to provide a separate chamber for them. WCCI Multan acts as a forum providing an atmosphere catering particularly to the needs and requirements of women entrepreneurs of South Punjab and helping them in promoting their business in local, national, and international markets.  then she declared the AGM open.


 The election commission comprising were then invited to the stage and spoke about election process after that incoming executive committee took their oath. The new executive committee comprises: President Navaira Fahd, Senior Vice President Farah Saqib, Vice President, Nadia Waseem, executive members Ambreen Abbas Khan,, Farah Faisal, Humira Batool,  Masooma Sibtain, Filza Mumtaz, Aqsa KhakwaniSabahat Nasim, Shazia Irshad, Khalida Javed, Robina Rauf, and Nasim Shaukat, After the oath-taking ceremony, bouquets were presented to all the committee members. The newly sworn-in president, Navaira Fahd then addressed the audience and spoke of her plans for the year. After her address to the audience after which the AGM was officially declared closed.
