MULTAN, Oct 19th: Pakistan Railway failed to provide easy access to train to special persons and Senior citizens in Multan and Khanewal railway stations. Khanewal Junction station was not designed without any entrance to catch a train. But railway authorities shut the door No.2 without assigning any reason Now Passengers of all ages have to reach at the platform after crossing a long and dilapidated bridge. Former President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry(MCCI) Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh demanded of the Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed to open the gate-2 of Khanewal and Multan railway station to facilitate the senior citizens, women, children and handicapped persons. He urged upon the Minister to issue instructions to the station master of Multan to station mostly trains at platform No.3 instead of 4 or 5.
