Second marriage without permission took husband to prison

Judicial Magistrate (Section 30) Kabirwala, Muhammad Waseem Ahmed has awarded one-year rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.5,00,000on the charge of making second marriage without the permission of his first wife. In default of payment of fine, he would undergo for further four months simple imprisonment. The convict will have the benefit of Section 382 -B of Cr.P.C and the sentence will run concurrently under section 397 Cr.P.C. with all sentences which have been awarded to the convict today in any other case or any sentence already undergoing.
As the complainant faced mental as well as physical agony and financial loss due to the act of the convict and she also paid a fee to her counsel to prove her case , therefore, the complainant is also awarded a sum of Rs.2,00,000 as compensation under section 544-A Cr.P.C payable by the convict. Similarly, an amount of Rs.5,00,000 of the fine would also be given to the complainant under section 545 Cr.P.C.The court ordered to send him jail. The complainant Hafiza Saadia Saeed of Mumtazabad Multan filed a suit in the court of Judicial Magistrate Kabirwala because her spouse Abdul Mannan son of Ghulam Fareed belongs to Kabirwala made second marriage with Aqsa Rasheed daughter of Rasheed-ul-Zafar thus he has violated the provision of Section 6 of  family laws ordinance 1961. After recording the evidence,the court admitted the complaint for regular hearing from 08-10-2019
