Multan, July 18th: A caravan of a hundred of Local industrialists, traders, and manufacturers led by Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry(MCCI) reached at Nishtar Medical University to pay tributes to Vice-Chancellor of NMU Prof.Dr.Mustafa Kamal Pasha. They were received by acting Vice-Chancellor Prof.Dr.Ahmed Ijaz Masud, Principal Nishtar Medical College,Prof.Iftikhar Hussain Khan, Registrar Nishtar Medical University Prof.Dr.Waqar Rabbani, Additional Registrar,Dr.Fawad Khakwani,Dr.Tariq Jamil,Dr.Abdul Wali, Raheen Anjum and others. Member of MCCI appreciated the services rendered by the martyrs of COVID-19 including Dr.Mustafa Kamal Pasha. They put flowers bouquet in front of residence of Dr.Pasha.They also offered fateha and prayed for the departed soul. Prominent among the participants of the caravan were Mian Rashid Iqbal, Senior Vice President, Mian Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Khawaja Muhammad Usman, Aurangzeb Alamgir, Sheikh Faisal Saeed, Bakhsh Elahi,Haseeb Ahmed Khan, Shahid Mehmood Khan Ex-MPA, Shahid MehmoodKhan, Sheikh Muhammad Amjad, Khawaja Nadeem Shehzad, Syed Ijaz Shah(Food Festival)Col(Retd)Khalid Mirza, Sheikh Asim Saeed Ex-Vice Chairman of PCGA, Faheem Sattar, Abdul Rehman Qureshi, Zahida Hameed Qureshi Chairperson of Society for Special persons. Later talking to media men MCCI President Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh, Mian Rashid Iqbal and Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh said that Dr Mustafa Kamal Pasha was a courageous and determined Surgeon who fought the virus till last moment of his life. The vacuum created by his passing away in field of medicines would not be bridged for long, they added. They paid homage to Dr Pasha for his meritorious services in field of medicines. They said doctors were front line heroes in fight against the global pandemic.
Sheikh Fazal Elahisaid that death of Dr Pasha had deprived NMU of one of the nice administrators and experts clinician. He prayed Allah Almighty to rest his soul in peace. Mian Rashid Iqbal expressed his commiseration on the sudden demise of Prof Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University (NMU).He said that Dr Pasha lost his life as a frontline soldier in the war against COVID-19. He said that it was indeed a great loss as we were deprived of a great teacher, exceptional surgeon and most loveable person.Sheikh Nadeem Ahmed said “Dr Pasha will remain in our hearts. We express our sincerest sympathies to his family”,.
