MULTAN, July 13th:Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI)'s President Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh has urged upon the business postgraduates to prefer "business" instead of searching for jobs because they can take loans of Rs100,000 to Rs25 million for their businesses and limit of unsecured loan has been increased from Rs500,000 to one million rupees in the second phase of Kamyab Jawan programme to provide more opportunities to the youth of the country. The markup for the second phase has also been reduced to 3% from 6%. Exchanging views with the National business head Nasir Abbas, Regional Business Head Sael Abbas and Regional Executive Credit Muhammad Mughis Raza in Multan , Sheikh Fazal Elahi greeted Malik Nasir Abbas on his promotion and said that NBP had acknowledged his abilities, efforts and services .It was a great honour for the people of this region. He said that it was a good step that NBP has also decided to establish its help desk in Multan Chamber to facilitate the member. Regional business head Sael Abbas was appointed as focal person.Malik Nasir Abbas National Business Head NBP told that a Separate system was being introduced for issuing loans to new entrants of businesses.He said that we were endeavouring for the last several years to motivate the people to get advances from banks.Now we wanted to take all possible measures to attract the people for advancing loans.He urged the youth who are suffering from financial difficulties to take full advantage of this programme.The youth should focus on plan for their business and the government will provide loans without a guarantee, he added. The meeting was also attended by Mian Rashid Iqbal Senior Vice President ,Khawaja Muhammad Hussain, Syed Iftikhar Ali Shah and Aurangzeb Alamgir and acting Secretary General Muhammad Shafiq.
