Khawaja Muhammad Azam passes away on Sunday

MULTAN, June 28th: Renowned Industrialist Khawaja Muhammad Azam passed away after a protracted illness. He was 70 years old. He was laid rest in an ancestral graveyard after funeral prayer which was attended by local industrialists, traders, exporters, Cotton ginners, the elite of the city. Khawaja Muhammad Azam had served as President of the Multan Industrial Estate Management Board, a member of the MEPCO board of directors. He was a senior-most member of the Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry(MCCI) and Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association(PCGA)He left two sons Khawaja Muhammad Badar Munir and Khawaja Muhammad Arshad, Two daughters.
An emergent condolence meeting was held in Multan Chamber to pay homage to Khawaja Azam for his services rendered for the cause of the business community. Later Fateha Khawani was held for "Eisal-i-Sawab" of the departed soul.
