Eid-message of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi-Pray for patient of COVID-19 and help the destitutes

MULTAN,May 24th: Renowned Industrialist , Philanthropist and Former President of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Multan- Dera Ghazi Khan Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has said in his "Eid message"  that we are celebrating " Eid-ul-Fitr" amid unique circumstances, as the nation struggles to come to terms with a deadly plane crash that killed 97 people and to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.He said  “We are also saddened by the plane crash in Karachi two day before the eid festivity,” Roomi appealed to the people to celebrate the Eid-ul-fitr festival with sobriety and simplicity.He also asked the people to dedicate the Eid this year to the doctors, nurses and all health workers who were “the real heroes and heroines as they are risking their own lives to save the lives of their fellow citizens and battling against COVID-19 as frontline soldiers”.Jalaluddin Roomi appealed to the people to celebrate the Eid at their homes and go for the Eid prayers following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the Government and strictly observed the social distancing principle.He urged people to "observe social distancing, wear masks and wash their hands so that they can keep themselves, their families and friends safe" from Covid-19.We stand with the affected families in this hour of grief.",he added.He also appealed to the people not to forget the patients of pandemic Corona virus in their prayers and help those who rendered jobless or penniless due to longer lockdown.
