MULTAN, Dec 5th: Former Punjab caretaker Minister for industries,Ex-President of MCCI and Chairman of Multan Dryport Trust Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi took a serious notice of shortage of medicines and instruments in the CPE Institute of Cardiology Multan and immediately sent a cheque of huge amount to Medical Superintendent to meet institute's requirements and He assured that he would provide more donations if required at anytime. Roomi said that cardiology institute in Multan was a blessing for the people of south Punjab which is saving the lives of thousands of people.
Appreciating the spirit or devotion of Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi, Civil society said that other philanthropists, industrialists,traders, exporters and leaders of business community should come forward for the help of poor patients who cannot afford to purchase medicines, to make payment for their operations which are very costly.They said that local businessmen can run a number of charity hospitals in Multan
