Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar who is also chairman of Journalists Foundation as well as Development Authorities is lip tightened on the issue of Journalists plots in Fatima Jinnah Town of MDA.He is main hurdle in resolving this chronic issue and he was not taking interest like previous chief Minister in resolving this issue of journalists of neglected and backward city of Multan. Punjab Chief Minister should have to convene a joint meeting of Journalists foundation and MDA authorities and secretary Housing and Physical planning to solve this problem confronted by the allottees since 2007. Journalists are justified in questioning where the Cheque of 55 million had gone which is to be paid to Multan Development authority to get the possession of Journalist block.More than 500 allottees of plots are running from pillar to post to get possession of their plots and demarcation of their property.Former Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif knowingly did not resolve this issue because this colony was approved by then Chief Minister Ch.Pervez Elahi and financial assistance was provided by the Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. Elected Representatives of Multan are not deserved to any appreciation because they are "tongue less" they can't raise voice even for their own rights. They are not ready to raise voice in the house of Punjab Assembly or National assembly.Even our Union and PFUJ were lip tightened on this issue.It is worth mentioning that more 30 journalists have so far been expired awaiting for the allotment of plot.
