Target killings in Balochistan was condemned by religious entities


MULTAN, April 19th: Activists of Majlis Wahdat ul-Muslimeen (MWM)on friday organised a rally in New Multan which concluded at Gulshan Market to condemn the genocide of Shia Muslims in Balochistan and target killings and to press the authorities to protect their lives and property.  Leaders of different political and politico-religious parties Syed Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi, Saleem Abbas Siddiqui, Syed Sakhawat Ali, Allama Ghulam Mustafa Rizvi, Syed Qamar Abbas Naqvi, Mohsin Langah, Rao Muhammad Arif Rizvi (Minhaj-ul-Quran),Shehryar Haider Saqlain Naqvi,Imran Zafar, Muhammad Atif and other lashed out at United States, Israel, India and Taliban for plotting against Islamic Republic of Pakistan.They condemned the attack, saying: "This horrific loss of life is a painful reminder of the threats that Quetta's Hazara community continues to face."Targeted for their religion by sectarian armed groups, they have suffered many such tragedies over several years. Each time, there are promises that more will be done to protect them, and each time those promises have failed to materialise."The demos were also staged in Alipur, Dera Ghazi Khan,Bahawalpur,Rahimyar Khan, Layyah Bhakkar and Khanewal after friday prayers.
