Pakistan releases incarcerated Indian citizen

Indian Government is violating the international law and is reluctant to release those Pakistani prisoners who had completed their sentence. Indian authorities are torturing Pakistani Nationals in prisons and handing over their bodies after death. While Pakistan is releasing Indian prisoners in Pakistan without any hesitations. Pakistan on Monday released an Indian citizen after the completion of his sentence.
The prisoner, 31-year-old Ghulam Qadeer, was handed over to India’s Border Security Force (BSF) by Pakistani authorities. Qadeer had illegally entered Pakistan, said sources in the interior ministry.
Last week, another Pakistani prisoner died in an Indian prison after a prolonged illness.
Amin Afzal, a fisherman, was arrested by the Indian Coast Guard in 2017 when he had mistakenly taken his fishing vessel into Indian waters.
Afzal was a resident of Sindh’s Umerkot and was kept in the Ahmedabad Jail where he eventually became severely ill and had to be admitted to the civil hospital last month. He died there last night.Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) yesterday handed over a Pakistani old man Muhammad Ashraf (65) back to Punjab Rangers as a goodwill gesture a day after he mistakenly crossed into Indian territory. According to the Rangers officials, the Indian BSF handed over the old man to Pakistani authorities as a goodwill gesture during their important meeting held at Lehri Post Zafarwal Sector here yesterday. On March 08, Muhammad Ashraf, 65, a resident of village Bhooiyaan-Zafarwal had mistakenly entered into an Indian area (Samba Sector) through the Zafarwal Sector of the zig-zagged Sialkot Working Boundary. Both Punjab Rangers and Indian BSF contacted each other on the issue and yesterday the Indian BSF handed over him back to Pakistan.
The Punjab Rangers reunited him with his family.
