As per the results of the examination announced by the BZU, Mr Dasti failed in all the law subjects.
Earlier, Advocate Ameer Akbar Sial, brother of PPP MNA Irshad Ahmad Sial, had submitted an application to the BZU vice chancellor urging him to withhold the result card of Mr Dasti because he had a fake BA degree and was disqualified by the court as MNA in 2010. Meanwhile, Mr Dasti said he would apply for rechecking of his answer sheets.
On the other hand, Jamshed Khan Dasti has sent a letter to Chief Election Commissioner and Chief Justice of Lahore High Court to draw their attention towards omitting the election tribunals for Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions from the roster. Mr.Justice Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed a judge of election tribunal for Dera Ghazi Khan division was posted at Bahawalpur bench. It may be recalled that Jamshed Dasti had filed election petitions against Mehr Irshad Seyal MNA of PPP from Muzaffargarh, Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed Khan of PPP from Khangarh. Jamshed Dasti's lawyer Basir Khan Sikhani said that Election Tribunal in binding to decide the petitions with 120 days. but these tribunals failed to act upon this advice.
