Prime Minister Imran Khan said that relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are based on mutual cooperation and support and the bilateral ties will continue to bolster, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
The statement comes to felicitate the UAE leadership on the country’s 47th National Day. The premier also said that the development, prosperity and good governance prevailed in the Emirate in just 47 years.
Relations between the two countries have changed into a long term strategic and economic partnership by improving bilateral ties in all sectors, PM Imran added.
He also expressed his good wishes and sentiments on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan to the visionary leadership of UAE while praying for its development and prosperity.
Last month, Premier Imran made his second visit to the UAE after assuming the office. The leaderships of the two counties resolved to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties, besides fostering cooperation to deal with transnational organised crime, including money laundering, drug and human trafficking.

Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Island are back for the fourth consecutive year with the one of the biggest National Day celebrations in the region on Sunday. Enjoy free entertainment at the 'Let Your Colours Go' event taking place from 2pm to 9pm, including BMX tricks, balloon installations and an Emirati kitchen.
World on the doorstep
Global Village has decorations and celebrations that will brighten up the whole park in the colours of the UAE flag while the pavilions will mark the occasion in their own unique way. Catch the Operetta - 'Zayed: Leader of the Humans', that will take place at the Main Stage on December 1, 2 and 3.

The Outlet Village has roaming entertainment acts, traditional UAE dances Al Ayala and Al-Razfa, and photos with a falcon, the UAE's national bird. Henna artists will decorate women's hands with intricate designs representing the UAE's artistic heritage.
Walk this way
From December 1 to 3, City Walk will witness traditional Emirati Al Ayala and Al Harbiya dance performances that are integral to the UAE's heritage from 4pm to 9pm.

Be part of the festivities as #WOWJBR gets ready to mark the occasion with an exciting line up of traditional Emirati performances and entertainment acts that showcase the country's vibrant culture and rich heritage over Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 10pm.

An Arabic-themed brunch at the The Canvas Hotel Dubai - MGallery by Sofitel's all-day diner, Azalya, will have everything such as Chicken Lalla Fatima, Emirati Salona Vegetable, Lamb Tagine and Bamya Yakhan. Taking place on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, it's Dh147 per person.
