MULTAN, Oct 21st: At least Nineteen passengers including 13 devotees have so far been died and another 35 injured in a head on collision near Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday night some 90 km west of Multan .Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Tahir Khurshid told that Eight passengers died on the spot and another eleven succumbed to wounds on way to Hospital. All the injured were shifted to Trauma centre D.G.Khan where condition of eight passengers is stated to be serious. Incharge Rescue 1122 Dr.Natiq-Hayat confirmed the 19 casualties and said that number of casualties may be increased because some passenger received severe injuries. Medical Superintendent of D.G.Khan Teaching hospital Gul Hassan Shah confirmed that eleven passengers died at hospital and seven at the spot.
Police said that this accident happened due to reckless driving of both drivers of the buses. Eye witnesses say that Karachi bound bus hit a Multan bound bus in a bid to save a motor cyclist Sources said that ten member belonged to same family.Three of them were real brothers. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar who also belonged to D.G.Khan district took it seriously and announced free treatment of all the injured and compensation of Rs.10,00,000 for each deceased family.Those who died are identified as Baba Inayat ,Abdul Majid, Muhammad Hussain, Ghulam Fareed, Ghulam Shabbir, Muhammad Aasim, Jauhar Raza, Tahir Abbas, Hamid Ali, Jamshed, Sajid ,Sarfrazm Bahar Hussain, Allah Ditta(28),Jafar Hussain,Yousaf Hussain sons of Madah Hussain,Mithu (40),Muhammad Hussain (35) Pappa son of Khuda Bakhsh and Baba Mukhtiar,
