Hearing against Salman Naeem MPA adjourned till Sept 12

MULTAN, Sept 5th: Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) adjourned the hearing of a petition of Naveed Anjum, a voter from PP-217 till September 12 and issued notice to Passport office Multan, Union council conmcerned, and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan to appear before the ECP with record.Mr.Justice Muzammil Akhtar Shabbir of Lahore High Court Multan Bench has referred this petition to election commission on August 6 with these direction to decide this issue within two weeks and redress grievance of the complainant.The petitioner's lawyer produced more evidences against Salman Naeem MPA from PP-217 Multan and alleged that he had availed the tax amnesty scheme and declared his hidden assets which shows that he was a tax-evader besides possessing two CNIC cards.It may be recalled that Salman Naeem was reportedly an underage and changed his date of birth in Matriculation certificate then he changed his age on the CNIC through NADRA. But he did not surrender his previous card and used in granting passport, NTN card and bank accounts.He had defeated Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi from this constituency.
