PTI finalise 23-member Punjab cabinet,15 member KPK. No Representation from Multan

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a 23-member Punjab cabinet hours after Prime
Minister Imran Khan interviewed provincial lawmakers at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad on Sunday. No MPA was taken from Multan, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Vehari, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar while two ministries each were given to Chakwal and Rajanpur. There were very authentic rumours that Salman Naeem Sheikh who had defeated Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, is being inducted in provincial cabinet but these rumours were not come true.PTI sources said that A voter of Salman Qureshi from PP-217 had challenged his candidature because, according to him he possessed two CNIC cards, he had concealed the assets and misreported his academic qualification.
A session was held at Imran’s residence, where Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and others recommended for the cabinet were present.
According to a party statement, Yasmin Rashid has been assigned the portfolio of health while Mehmoodur Rasheed and Aleem Khan have been given the charge of Housing, and Local Government, respectively.
Other notable members in the provincial cabinet include Fayyaz Chawhan, Mian Aslam and Raja Basharat, among others.
Muhammad Sibtain, Sardar Asif Nigai and Hafiz Mumtaz have also been named in the provincial cabinet.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a 15-member provincial cabinet for Khyber-Pakhtunhwa on Sunday.
Most names of the cabinet, comprising 12 ministers and three advisors, were proposed by K-P Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, who forwarded the list to Prime Minister Imran Khan for approval last week.
Former Education minister Atif Khan has been appointed as a senior minister, with an additional portfolio of tourism.
Other prominent members of the K-P government include Shahram Khan Tarakai, who has been given the portfolio of Local Government, and Taimour Jhagra, who will look after finance.
Akhtar Ayub, Muhibullah Khan and Sultan Muhammad Khan are also among those included in the cabinet.
