    Five killed, seven injured in Mardan firing

    At least five people were killed and seven injured during an exchange of fire between two rival group of same tribe in Mardan on Wednesday,South Punjab News reported
    The firing also injured a passerby and took place over sacrificial animals.
    According to sources, Ghalib Khan and his relative Nausher opened fire on each other.
    As a result five people died on the spot. The injured were shifted to a hospital along with the bodies.
    District police head Wahid Mehmood and Toro Police Station House Officer (SHO) were present on the murder scene.
    The area has been cordoned off. A search and strike operation is underway to nab the suspects at the earliest.
    An exchange of fire took place between the Khan Ghalib and Nosher groups, who are related to each other, on Wednesday in Dhakki, Toro. Five people were killed on the spot. One of the deceased people was a passer-by. Two brothers of one group and an uncle-nephew duo of another group were the other four deceased people.
    The bodies and injured were taken to Mardan Medical Complex.
