Five sons of soil embraced martyred: DG ISPR

Five soldiers were martyred when their jeep fell into ditch near Batgram when they were returning from the place of election duty on Wednesday. Police said that they were retuning after delivering the election material to the staff of returning officer of NA-12.On their way  it  fell 250 feet down the cliff on road side. No sacrifice is more sacred than the life sacrificed in line of duty.
Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Twitter, five more sons of soil embraced Shahadat (Martyred) while serving the nation during Elections duty.

Earlier, on July 25, Major General Asif Ghafoor thanked the brave Pakistani nation for using their right to vote and showing their love for the men in uniform.
Right after the polling time was over, Ghafoor posted an emotional tweet on military’s official twitter handle, thanking the Pakistani nation.
“Thank you Pakistan,” wrote DG ISPR in his tweet.

“World has seen Pakistani nation's love and respect for Pakistan armed forces and LEAs today,” he added in his emotional tweet.

He further said, “Pakistani nation have rejected all kinds of malicious propaganda.”

“Unflinching support of Pakistani nation is behind the strength of Pakistan's armed forces,” Ghafoor concluded.
