Three daughters of a peasant Naseer Ahmed buried alive in Cholistan's sand near Fortabbas in Bahawanagar district of Punjab province when they lost their way and met high velocity winds . They were identified as Saroya (9),Fatima (7) and Allah Mafi (5). Parents told that they were returning home from their aunt's home one day before Eid-ul-fitr when the temperature was 47 degree celsius in Cholistan. A sudden dust storm with the velocity of 97 km/hour hit them consequently they lost their way and buried under the sand. Their parents searched them with the help of local people but all in vain.After three days hectic efforts,they managed found their bodies when they a hem of their clothes out of sand. Neither District administration, nor rescue authorities nor police lent ear to their appeals for the search of three daughters.The cries of grieving parents for their dead daughters echo across the region.
