PML-N man gets beaten up by Nawaz Sharif’s security after attempted hand-shake

A Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supporter on Monday was mercilessly beaten up by security guards when he tried to approach ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to shake his hand with him at an event in Lahore.
He was identified as Muhammad Ayyub Bhutta who told mediamen that he went to remind a promise of a home to Mian Nawaz Sjharif who made in 2008. He said that now Nawaz Sharif not only hugged him but also promised to fulfil his commitment. The man received a thrashing at the hands of Nawaz Sharif’s security team after he moved forward to hand-shake on Monday. Founder member of PML-N vehemently condemned the reaction by security guards and said that Muslim League leaders should also crea for the workers as well as leadership.
TV footage showed a man running towards the stage where the former premier, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and other party leaders were sitting.
The unfortunate incident took place in Lahore, where PML-N leaders gathered to mark the country’s 1998 nuclear tests.
According to footage aired by Media, a middle-aged man can be seen rushing toward Nawaz Sharif.He extended his hand towards Nawaz Sharif before he was whisked away by security team and got badly beaten up.
Later, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique intervened, rescued the man and hugged him.
The former prime minister also embraced the thrashed worker after his clearance.  
Maryam Nawaz, who was also present at the venue, denounced the aggressive response of the security officers, saying that 'supporters have a special relationship with their quaid [leader].'
Later on, Nawaz and Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique met the man and apologised to him.
In March 2018, a day after ink was thrown on then Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif in Sialkot, a shoe was thrown at Nawaz Sharif in Lahore. FIR was lodged against the shoe-attacker who had chanted ‘Labbaik Ya Rasoolallah’ after committing the crime.
