MULTAN, April 6th: Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed today in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan ,Bahawalpur divisions to condemn the ongoing state terrorism and violence by the Indian Army in Occupied Kashmir and martyrdom of 20 youths ibn a day. After Juma prayers more than 100 Islamists staged a demonstration on Masoom Shah road under the auspices of Jamaat Islami while Ruling Muslim League's Youth wing organised a rally under the leadership of Abdul Rehman Faree which terminated at tee chowk after passing through a number of streets in New Multan. Rallies, functions and walks were also held in Nuzaffargarh, Lodhran, Khanewal, Vehari, Rajanpur, Layyah Sahiwal and Pakpattan and different other parts of the country as by Pakistanis and Kashmiris living there to expose Indian atrocities and highlight the need for peaceful resolution of the longstanding dispute.They were chanting anti Indian slogans. A number of protest rallies were taken out to condemn the Kunduz bombing in which more than 150 people including 101 students and 50 others.
