    Man axes his four children to death in Gujrat

    A man Muhammad Ayyub axed to death four of his very own children in Gujrat’s Saraye Alamgir area on Sunday, South Punjab News reported.


    According to police, Ayyub, the accused, killed three of his sons along with  his daughter in the Sayeen Dera neighbourhood.
    The father has been taken into custody as well as the murder weapon used to commit the act, authorities say.
    The victims have been identified as Amana, 12, Nadia, 10, Ayesha, 8, and Zeeshan, 3.

    On March 24, a similar incident took place in Lahore in which three children were strangled to death by their mother. The mother was arrested along witDead bodies of three children were recovered from a house in the Heer area of Lahore on Saturday.


    The victims include 10-year-old Zain, six-year-old Kaneez Fatima and four-year-old Ibrahim.
    According to initial reports, the mother was present in the house when the killings took place and was later found injured.
    Investigating officials allege that the mother is mentally disturbed and could have been the murderer.
    However, the mother claims that the murders were committed by a ‘friend’.
     The police further reported that the house belongs to a man named Qaseer Ameen, who was not present in the house.h her friend.
