The girl, was identified as Sajida, and recovered from a field in Bhalwal tehsil of Sargodha district today according to media reports.
Today morning, Sajida had gone in the fields for daily lavatory needs, where unidentified men raped and strangled her to death, said Sajida’s father, Mohammad Khan.
As per statement of the police, first information report (FIR) of the incident has been lodged and investigation is underway. The body has been shifted to a nearby hospital. A postmortem will be done to reveal further details of the incident.
This incident has surfaced a day after people were holding protests in Kasur and demanding justice for Zainab’s murder. Zainab, a 7 year old girl was raped murdered in Kasur.
