MULTAN,Dec 8th:Hundreds of people came out on roads after friday congregations in Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rahimyarkhan and other cities of Southern Punjab to protest against American President Donald Trump for declaring the city of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.THe demonstrators also burnt the effigy of US president and chanted slogans against Trump for his pro-Jewish policies. Jamaat Islami staged a demonstration at Kalima Chowk, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam(Fazal-ur-rehman Group) staged a demonstration in front of Madarsah Qasim-ul-Aloom while Majlis Wahdat-Al-Muslimeen ,Imamia Students Organisation (ISO),Shia Ulema Council, and Anjuman Nida-e-Hussaini jointly organised a big rally which commenced from New Multan and concluded at Chowk Nawan Shehr after completing the six-kilometer distance.They burnt the National flags of United States and Israel.The rally was led by Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi,Salim Abbas Siddiqui, Allama Qazi Nadir Hussain Alvi,Maulana Hadi Hussain Hadi, Syed Moosa Kazim, Maulana Imran Zafar addressed the participants and denounced the Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and describe it insane and illogical.They warned of dangerous instability in the wake of the announcement, which overtly sides Washington with Israel at a time when the US had been attempting to table a new peace initiative between Jerusalem and Ramallah.They said that nefarious designs of United States have been exposed.Now Arab world should re-design their diplomatic policies. Activists of Jamaat-ud-dawah (JuD)also staged a demonstration at Chowk Kutchehry and chanted anti US slogans
