A convict Tariq Iqbal of Makhdoom Rasheed was hanged in Central Jail Multan on Wednesday for killing a woman Akhtari bibi in 2004 on resistence during a dacoity. New Multan Police had registered a case. Session court had awarded him death sentence. high courts upheld the judgement.Later President of Pakistan also rejected his clemency appeal.It is stated he was a milk seller but his greed took him to gallows.He planned to become wealthy over night and raided a home of one of his customers. The woman was alone at home when he raided the home but she resisted forcefully.Upon this he shot her dead and managed to run away.
