Rangers foiled foil 'major' terror bid in Dera Ghazi Khan: ISPR

Security forces on Friday foiled a 'major' terror bid in Dera Ghazi Khan to attack a procession of Yum-i-Ali (AS) on June  17, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military's media wing, said in a statement.
"Pakistan Rangers Punjab conducted intelligence-based operations in Dera Ghazi Khan last night, the ISPR statement said. Two suspected terrorists were killed during the operation.
The statement said the two suspects were "planning terrorist action during a religious activity" and were killed in an exchange of fire during the operation.
