Students of Multan staged a rally to express solidarity with Kashmiri students

MULTAN,May 4th: Al- Muhammadia Students Multan on Thursday staged a demonstration at the Chowk Nawan Shehr gainst Indian aggression, killing and torturing the Kashmiri students who were waging a struggle for freedom. The demonstration was led by Muhammad Kashif of AMS south Punjab , a  students organisation of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) .The protesters burnt the Indian flag to express their anger. They were also carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against India and in favour of Kashmiris chanted slogans against Indian Government and in favour of Kashmiris. The students of Multan expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri students who were being tortured by Indian troops.They warned India to refrain from its burtalities, genocide of Kashmiris, violation of line of control or such conflicts could turn into a full-fledged war between the two nuclear countries.They demanded the Indian government to open routes for Kashmiris’ help. “Trucks containing dry ration and other items, are standing at Chakothi since last 2 days, be allowed to enter in Indian Occupied Kashmir. The food trucks should be dispatched to IOK. Pakistani people are with their Kashmiri brothers,” he added.
A statement issued here by the JuD said thousands of people took participation in protest which were held in Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Peshawar and other cities. People shouted slogans against India and deflagrated an Indian flag.
