Four young picnickers including two real brothers drowned at Hawks bay

At least four youths including two brothers who had gone for picnicking at Karachi’s Hawkes Bay drowned late on Saturday night.
Rescue services, however, managed to save one of the five picnickers in unconscious state in the wee hours of Sunday and shifted him and the bodies to a a hospital, South Punjab News reported.
The deceased were identified as Danish, 25, Syed Raza, 19, Mashaal, 17, and Zubair. They were residents of different areas of the metropolitan city.
Several people drown in Karachi each year as they head to the beaches seeking refuge from the sweltering heat in the summers. The deaths are often attributed to lack of inadequate rescue services and absence of safety measures by the public.
