MULTAN, April 27: A farmer Muhammad Tariq (40) committed suicide by consuming pesticide after killing his five children on family feud in chak no 341 TDA(Chowk Azam) in layyah district early in the morning . DPO Layyah Muhammad Ali Zia told that Tariq had divorced his wife last year on vendetta.After it, he was looking after his five children besides doing work in the field. He was highly depressed due to this situation. He purchased wheat-pills (Aluminium Phosphide) from a pesticide shop. These pills are commonly used to preserve the wheat from pests. He prepared toxic meal and gave to his children who died immediately however ,he survived .Then he was removed to DHQ hospital Layyah by Rescue 1122 where he died. Their bodies were kept in hospital for autopsy. Those died are identified as Muhammad Tariq (40),Tayyaba Tariq(12) Muhammad Tayyab (11)Tanzeela (9) Shanza (8)and Saba(6).
