According to spokesman for the paramilitary force, the joint action was launched in Mashqaf area of Machh, where exchange of fire took place with the militants.
During the shootout, three terrorists affiliated to banned outfit were killed, the spokesman said.
He added that the terrorists killed in the encounter were involved in October 7 and 16 train attacks.

According to reports, six persons lost their lives while several others injured in armed clash between two tribes of Lashari in Gajan area of Jhal Magsi.
Levies cordoned off the area after the incident and arrested 17 people. However, some managed to escape from the area.
The incident spread fear among the residents of the area.
